      AUTISM AWARENESS

Autism Awareness is Australia’s leading voice for autism.
Our goal is simple: to improve the lives of all Australians on the autism spectrum and the families who love them.

We empower parents and carers with quality information and resources. We provide targeted educational programs to families, professionals and the broader community. We support inclusion for people on the autism spectrum… and we have some fun along the way too.

Our campaigns and events have reached millions of Australians. We are proud to have delivered the majority of our programs free of charge across the country, including rural and regional communities.

Our mission is to spark positive change by increasing education and understanding of autism in Australia. We hope our efforts will lead to earlier diagnosis, access to effective interventions and more meaningful supports to help people on the spectrum reach their full potential.

      BEYOND BLUE

Beyond Blue provides information and support to help everyone in Australia achieve their best possible mental health, whatever their age and wherever they live.

Three million Australians are currently experiencing anxiety or depression. Every day, eight people take their own lives. Because this affects all of us, we’re equipping everyone in Australia with the knowledge and skills to protect their own mental health. We’re giving people the confidence to support those around them, and making anxiety, depression and suicide part of everyday conversations.

And as well as tackling stigma, prejudice and discrimination, we’re breaking down the barriers that prevent people from speaking up and reaching out.
We’re here for everyone in Australia – at work, home, school, university, online, and in communities across the country.

      ST JOSEPH’S PRIMARY SCHOOL KP

St Joseph’s Primary School is a Christ-centred learning community founded in the Mercy tradition. It invites us to take up the challenge – one that encourages us to develop fully our own God given talents.

At the same time, it enkindles within us a desire to assist others, so that they too
‘may have life, and have it to the full’ John 10:10

The vision and mission of the School serve to promote the dignity and uniqueness of each human person. Their aim is to foster the intellectual, spiritual, emotional, physical and social wellbeing of all members of the School community within a safe, healthy, caring and sustainable environment.

      COURIER-MAIL CHILDREN’S FUND

Established by Queensland Newspapers staff as a way to give back to the community.
One of the initial campaigns of the Fund over 100 years ago was the annual ‘Santa’s Toy Sack’ drive which gathered toys in the lead up to Christmas for children in Queensland hospitals.

Over the years The Courier-Mail Children’s Fund has evolved, expanding the number of children it helps across a more diverse range of issues while staying true to its original vision – to help Queensland children in need.

The Fund maximises its impact and efficiency by only directing its funds to registered charities that demonstrate that they have the specialist skills and knowledge to deliver high-value, life-changing programs to children in need.
